I found Danie the office lady to be amazing she was very helpful and amazing. Her dog was also very friendly and loved playing with my dog!!! Please hire her back

Excellent place to spend your golden years; beautiful landscaping & patios to enjoy the outdoors, homey environment indoors. Staff is incredibly dedicated to the care & well-being of the residents as well. 10/10 would recommend to someone looking for an independent/assisted living facility!

Staff are excellent in caring and interacting with residents. There is always something going on and staff are right there beside the residents having a blast. Lakewood is more of a community then a assisted living home!

Review for Lakewood Landing, Inc.

It's a comfortable apartment, with friendly residents. They need to work on consistent cook, and additional staff. They have had, way too much staff turnover. My loved one is very happy there. She has made some wonderful friends and that her family appreciates the level of care and safety she has there. There may be areas that could use improvement but overall we are all very happy.

Our Experience

The positives of Lakewood Landing is that they each get their own private studio apartment. They can come and go as they wish but yet they are in a secured building with alarms should they wander. Another positive is that they are beside water. They can go out and walk along the water with a cemented path. The downside is the lack of activities for the memory care residents.

Tour of Lakewood Landing

My loved one could not take the tour with me, but I found Lakewood Landing to be a great quality facility. It is on par with the place that we chose, the only thing it came down to was location. He lives in another state and did not want to make this big of a move. It looked like a great facility.

A great place to make a second home

At this time the community is having a hard time keeping a cook and covid is playing a big part in this. We do not regret placing my loved one here. He is happy and it takes a lot of burden off of us. This community is working out well for my loved one. They have activities like musical groups coming in, karaoke, painting, colored pencil activities, watching things on t.v. as a group and more for the residents to do to have a good time. My loved one has said several times that everyone there is a big family. They all care about each other and socialize often.
